Metal-detecting between 1996 and 2018 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and Bronze Age, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Bronze Age palstave fragment and flanged axehead; a Roman brooch; a medieval key; a medieval/post-medieval button, thimble and copper alloy vessel fragment and post-medieval trade weights, a buckle and crotal bell.

1996. Metal detecting finds. [1].
Roman coins.
Middle Bronze Age palstave fragment.
2nd century Roman plate brooch. Decorated with 2 concentric circles. The outer one has triangular cells of pale blue/green enamel. The inner one contains 6 oval cells of the same enamel arranged in a flower pattern radiating out from a boss.

May-June 1999. Metal detecting. [3].
3 medieval coins.
Lead 1/2oz trade weight of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). Flat and circular, it is stamped on one face with a crowned E, the arms of Norwich, and an A for avoirdupois. Now weighs 14.0g (0.49oz).
Lead 1 oz early post medieval trade weight. Flat and circular, it is stamped on one face with arms: a fess, in chief 3 annulets, in base a chevron (or possibly a chevron, on a chief 3 annulets). This is probably the arms of a town of city in England or northwest Europe.
Now weighs 27.73g (0.978oz).

Medieval/early post medieval cooking vessel. Leg and fragment of vessel wall survives. Circular in section with a right angled turn to a broken off foot.
Early post medieval jetton issued by Hans Schultes I (working 1553 to 1584) in Nuremberg. Obverse: 3 lis and 3 crows around a rose, with legend beginning with a fleur de lis. HANS (wedge) SCHULTES (wedge) OXF.
Reverse: orb in trefoil with pellets outside, and fictitious legend. The wedge shape in Hans Schultes I's personal mark. Not exactly paralleled in Mitchiner.
