Summary

Metal detecting recovered a large number of Iron Age, Roman, Saxon, and post medieval finds. These include Iron Age and Roman brooches, a Roman terret ring and a probable Early Saxon small-long brooch fragment. Iron Age and Roman coins were also found. These finds and those from nearby sites suggests this was an area of intense activity during the Late Iron Age and Roman periods.
