Summary

A rectangular enclosure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. Iron Age and Roman coins, brooches, rings and other metalwork, Early and Late Saxon brooches, Middle Saxon coins and other Saxon metalwork, and medieval and post medieval coins and metalwork have been found by metal detecting.

One of the objects found at this site during the 1990s is a Late Saxon Borre-style disc brooch. This brooch is amongst those included in the catalogue that accompanies thesis (S6).
