Name:Possible Roman building and multi-period finds

Summary

Investigations of this site during 1975-86 recovered a variety of objects, some of which suggested that a Roman building once existed on site. These Roman artefacts included brick, tile, daub, pottery sherds, brooches and coins. Other objects to be retrieved consisted of prehistoric worked flints, medieval pottery sherds, medieval and post medieval coins.
