Metal-detecting between 2003 and 2015 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds and coins; a medieval jetton and Roman and Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman cosmetic mortar and furniture fittings; an Early Saxon brooch; a Middle Saxon pin; a Late Saxon strap-end; a medieval harness pendant and strap-end and a post-medieval book clasp and unidentified object.

January-February 2003. Metal-detecting.
27 Roman pottery sherds (greyware, inc: 2 jar rims, 2 jar/ bowl rims, 1 bowl/dish rim, 4 basal, 18 body, predominantly abraded but including some fresher sherds (278g)).
1 medieval pottery sherd (body, unglazed).

October-November 2003. Metal-detecting.
1 Late Saxon incomplete copper alloy strap end, (cracked and broken, attachment end recessed for separate bar, corner missing, remains of two rivet holes, unbroken one with remains of iron rivet, broken openwork body, lower part missing, two small perforations (one broken) between remains of at least two transverse rows of three sub-trapezoidal perforations, face decorated with annular stamps, 26 x (at least) 30mm. 10th century).
