Summary

In 1998 four concentrations of prehistoric pot boilers and worked flints were noted in this area, including an Early Bronze Age plano-convex knife. In additon Iron Age, Roman and Late Saxon pottery fragments were also recovered.

1998. Pot boiler site.
Forty four worked flints. See list in file. Sample of 'pot boilers'.
One rim, four body sherds and scraps flint gritted misc prehistoric/Iron Age sherds, reduced.
One body sherd Roman greyware, One body sherd probable Roman greyware, One body sherd medieval Glazed Grimston.
