Metal-detecting at this location between 1994 and 2024 recovered Late Prehistoric worked flints; an Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead; Late Saxon pottery sherds; Roman, Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons; a post-medieval token and a range of other, undated and Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an undated key or latch lifter, copper alloy rings, a copper alloy staple, copper alloy possible nail fragment and unidentified copper alloy object; a Late Bronze Age awl; Late Iron Age/Roman brooches; Roman brooches, a bracelet fragment, knife handle, nail cleaner or ear scoop, harness mount, steelyard arm, probable needle and seal box; a potentially Roman finger ring; Early Saxon brooches, girdle hanger fragments, a buckle and wrist clasp; Middle Saxon strap ends, a brooch and pin; a Late Saxon brooch, buckle, finger ring, stirrup-strap mount, harness fitting or bridle cheek piece, bridle side link, furniture hasp, silver Thor's hammer pendant and lead 'model' for strap end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval keys, a dagger-scabbard chape, mirror case, suspension unit/holder for lamp or censer, dagger quillon, hilt plate from knife, horse-harness pendant, harness mount, harness fitting, probable mount, copper alloy rivet, copper alloy skimmer fragment, unidentified copper alloy objects and lead ampulla; a potentially medieval copper alloy ring and lead spindle whorl; a medieval/post-medieval book mount and copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval mount or stud, ferrule, probable furniture mount, decorative furniture plate, sword-belt fitting, thimble or sewing ring, end stop from scale-tang knife, copper alloy seal matrix, silver pendants and silver possible bell and lead pendant.
The whole assemblage is part of a larger Roman to Late Saxon settlement, and Early Saxon cemetery complex encompassing NHER 3565, NHER 11743, NHER11816, NHER 25765, NHER 30690 and NHER 31073.

2 medieval buckles, 2 strap mounts, 2 bar mounts, 2 studs, a strap end, probable mount and box or casket key.
Medieval/post-medieval buckle.
Post-medieval hooked tag, end stop from scale-tang knife, copper alloy seal matrix, silver religious pendant and silver sheet object (possibly a bell).

The post-medieval silver pendant and silver possible bell were both disclaimed as Treasure (Refs 2024 T833 and 2024 T834 respectively) and returned to the finder.
