Summary
Metal-detecting between 1994 and 2013 has recovered Late Upper Palaeolithic, Early Neolithic, Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age and undatable Late Prehistoric worked flints; Roman pottery; Roman coins; medieval and post-medieval tokens and a number of other metal objects. The metal objects include a Roman brooch, furniture fitting and harness mount; an Early Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon copper alloy weight and a medieval casket binding strip and a copper alloy vessel foot.
