Summary
Metal-detecting during 1993 and between 2003 and 2020 recovered Roman and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and Roman, Early Saxon, medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman brooch, cosmetic spoon, cosmetic set and finger ring; a remarkable late 5th or early 6th century Frankish asymmetric brooch; a medieval casket fitting, thimble furniture fitting and buckle and a post-medieval shoe or clog clasp, oval mount or furniture fitting and key.
