Prehistoric and Neolithic flint tools were found on the surface in the 1970s. Metal-detecting in 2019 recovered a Roman brooch.

Full description

See NHER 37827 for the excavation in the south-east corner of the site in 2003 which revealed a small truncated pit containing six pieces of an Early Neolithic plain bowl and two pits containing Early Iron Age pottery.
