A cropmark of a ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible aerial photographs (S1-S15). This ring ditch has previously been wrongly located and its grid reference has been amended from TM 3421 9312 to TM 3426 9315. The ring ditch has a slightly sub-circular plan with a 1.5m wide ditch and an external diameter of 19m. It is likely that it is of Bronze Age date and that it relates to a round barrow. An undated oval enclosure cropmark with a lies immediately to the east of the ring ditch (NHER 44843). The ring ditch is situated on a small spur of ground at approximately 21m OD. It forms part of a dispersed barrow cemetery (NHER 44844).

In the past there has been considerable confusion over the location of the ring ditch cropmarks in this area. Where the same cropmark has been seen in different years, this has led to some duplication of HER records. The record of this ring ditch appears to have been duplicated by NHER 10625 or 10626 (probably the former) and those records are now redundant. See also NHER 17276.
