This 19th century mill is reported as working between 1858 and 1899 when it produced paper for 'The Times' newspaper. An earlier mill on the same site is marked on Faden's map of 1797.

Watermill.
19th century brick with four gables in facade above large water arches. Mill house to north with weatherboarded gable.

A previous mill on the site is marked on (S1).
