Summary
In 1937 a Saxon spearhead made from iron was found in the River Bure by St Benet's Abbey. Later, in 1953, several pieces of medieval pottery were found in the river at the same point.

1937. Dredged from River Bure near St Benet's Abbey.
An Anglo-Saxon iron spearhead with traces of wooden shaft.
