Summary
Roman, Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds were recovered in dredgings from the River Bure and in molehills on the river footpath in 1073 and 2022. Undated burnt clay and animal bones were also recovered.

Full description
1973. Stray find. [1].
Roman and Ipswich ware sherds found in dredging (perhaps from Tuttington side), and also daub and animal bones.
Medieval sherds, lead liner and post medieval sherds.

Recovered from molehills near the rivers edge during a walk:
1 Roman pottery sherd.
Information from PAS import.
Site extended approximately 35m to the east along the river bank. Previously mapped as a point at [3].
