Summary

Metal-detecting between 2002 and 2017 recovered prehistoric worked flints including a scraper, blade, flakes and a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age knife; Late prehistoric, Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval coins, a medieval/post-medieval jetton and Roman or Middle Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman or Middle Saxon pin; a medieval buckle, strainer and an unusual lead mount; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval crotal bell, coin weight and weight.
