A hoard of over forty Late Bronze Age socketed axeheads, made of copper alloy, which was found on the surface, during excavation and by metal detecting in 2001.

19 January 2001. Stray finds.
Found by [1] on bare ground on pig field.
14 Late Bronze Age socketed axes.
Detailed description and illustrations to follow.
10 initially found, a further 4 whilst A. Rogerson (NLA) and K. Hinds (NLA) visiting site 22 January 2001.
