The remains of a post medieval brick kiln were ploughed up in 1960. This may have been used to make the bricks for the late 17th century Old Hall (NHER 9246).

Full description

About 1960. Ploughed up.
Remains of brick kiln. 'People from the Museum' are stated to have examined it and it is said to be that 'used to make the brick parts of the Old Hall'. The hall dates to the late 17th century.
