Summary
This may be the site of a Roman building, suggested by the amount of Roman brick and pottery found by fieldwalking on this site. Medieval and post medieval pottery has also been found.

Full description
March 1986. Found in fieldwalking. Area between Limekiln farm in the west and Broomhill plantation in the east.
Roman grey and colour coated, probably locally made late 2nd century wares.
Brick, possibly Roman.
Iron slag.
Medieval sherds.
Post medieval sherds and clay pipe stem.
