Summary

A double ring ditch, possibly the remains of a Bronze Age barrow, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. Metal detecting on site in 1996 recovered part of a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead and a post medieval book, box or furniture fitting.

Double concentric ring ditch adjacent to gravel extraction sites. Reference MW15, 278, FL 323 279.

Bronze nail made of rolled sheet, ?date.
Hinged catch decorated with openwork heart shapes. From book, box, furniture. Post medieval.
