1959. Found in trimming a bank on the field called Parson's Piece in Freethorpe 'beside the Limpenhoe Road'.
Hoard of twelve half crowns of George III, IV, and Victoria.
21 December 1959. Inquest.
Decided not treasure trove.

22 September 1976.
Enquiries in village determined that Parsons's Piece is one or both of the fields at the end of a small loke off the Limpenhoe road at above grid reference.
