A garden wall at Old Hall contains three bee boles, which would have housed straw hives known as skeps. These are amongst the small number of surviving Norfolk examples listed in the 'Bee Boles Register' (S4), which records them as being in west-facing double-skinned brick wall. Two have been infilled.
P. Watkins (HES), 20 May 2025.
