Summary

This bridge was constructed in 1882 to carry the Lynn to Fakenham line of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway (NHER 13584) over the rivern Wensum to Norwich. It is constructed from iron girders. Trains stopped running on all but the northern portion of this line in 1964. The rails have been removed from this bridge and it is now used as part of the Marriott's Way footpath.

Full description

Built to span the River Wensum in 1882 to bring the Lynn - Fakenham line to Norwich. Bridge span is around 50-75ft. Constructed from iron girders. Since the railway was removed the bridge is used as part of the Marriott's Way footpath.
