Full description
Ancient woodland indicator species including dog’s mercury, wood anemone, twayblade, herb Paris, bluebell and hairy St John’s wort are found under oak, ash, field maple and hazel. The woodland is thought to date back to the medieval period and is managed by Norfolk Wildlife Trust.

Earthworks, predominantly of post medieval date, recorded within Honeypot Wood are recorded as NHER 66910. The remains of a Second World War bomb store associated with Wendling Airfield are recorded as NHER 35925.
