April 1987. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Bailey Gate. 13th century. Rubble flint, stone dressings. Rectangular on plan with inner and outer arches, 2 round towers to north. North arch of unmoulded stone blocks, jambs dying into wall. Interior rere'arch. South side has 2 unmoulded stone block arches with interior rere'arch, supported by quoined piers."
