This mid 16th century brick garden wall stands on either side of the entrance to Holverston Hall (NHER 20118). There are two circular posts with a raised diamond and lozenge pattern picked out in brick topped by a ball.

Full description

September 1988. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Garden wall surviving to south each side of entrance. Mid 16th century. Brick. Stretch of wall with plinth course supported at intervals by sloping buttresses. Moulded coping bricks. Against drive entrance are two circular finials with raised diamond and lozenge mouldings surmounted by a ball finial."
