This Methodist church was constructed in 1879 using red brick and terracotta, before being extended in 1951. It remained independent and did not join the main Methodist denominations before the union of the 1930s. It closed in 2003 and permission has been granted to convert the building for residential use.

Full description

Methodist church, constructed 1879 in red brick and terracotta, arch braced roof. Extended in 1951. Remained independent and did not join the main Methodist denominations before the union of the 1930s. Closed 2003.

Also an earlier brief history (S3). The memorial tablets mentioned therein were removed before the sale. Permission to convert to residential use.
