Metal detecting in 2001 and 2022 recovered a probable Late Saxon pottery sherd and several metal objects, including a Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount and bridle cheek piece fragment and the spout from a medieval copper alloy vessel.

May 2001. Metal detecting.
Late Saxon bridle cheek piece fragment (S1).

June 2006. Corrected findspot indicated on ground by finder.
Finder states he also found a 'Thetford Ware burial urn'. [1].
One presumes the date is more likely to be correct than the function, which is probably due to a misunderstanding.

Medieval large and elaborate spout from copper alloy vessel (probably a ewer).
