(S1) by W.G. Clarke marks New Houghton as a barrow site.
Confusion with NHER 3522? But see NHER 12563.
E. Rose (NAU).

However (S2) refers to a barrow 'at Houghton near the Peddars Way', which is probably really Bircham, NHER 4758. A.J. Lawson (NAU) March 1976.
