Metal-detecting between 1998 and 2014 recovered Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and Roman, Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman brooch and pendant; an Early Saxon cruciform brooch; medieval and post-medieval buckles; medieval/post-medieval book clasps, a sword or dagger scabbard chape, coin weight, Jew's harp and a spur rowel and a post-medieval spur terminal, thimble and lead weight.

16th century copper alloy thimble, straight rim decorated with single engraved line, sides covered with a spiral of oval hand made indentations, and flat top covered with a similar spiral. Feels rather flimsy.

Base of a ?Medieval sieve/strainer. Sheet copper alloy disc pierced by many circular holes driven from one side. Diameter 42mm. 2 opposing holes, near circumference and driven from other side, probably for attachment to sides of vessel.
