Full description

Norfolk Historic Gardens Survey grade two-star (regional importance).
See (S1).
Built in cottage ornee style in 1879 by B. Bond Cabbell both to identify the entrance to Cromer Hall as a gentleman's residence and to house railway workers.
Each house has a hedged front garden, those at the end continuing around the sides.
Ornamental pierced brick walling sweeps round the corners.

Chesterfield Lodge and the Villas were listed in 1993. See (S2)
(S2) adds that architect was probably David Brandon and that the walls are of 'flint ashlar' with close studded timber frame for upper floor.
The Lodge has a staircase tower and terracotta roof finials.
Named after Cabbell's London house at Chesterfield Gardens.
