Summary
Metal detecting between 1997 and 2017 recovered a range of objects, including Roman, medieval and post medieval coins, medieval tokens, and undated and Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an undated buckle; Early Saxon brooch and girdle hanger; a Middle Saxon brooch; a Late Saxon brooch; Saxon brooches and a girdle hanger, medieval buckles, a strap fitting, thimble, sword, pendant and harness; a medieval/post-medieval skimmer and vessel, and a post-medieval buckle and strap fitting.
