Full description
January 1988. Fieldwalking.
South of junction of Townland Lane and Lundy Green (Context 1).
Roman mortarium with pouring lip fragment, also greyware.
Medieval greyware sherds including Late medieval/Transitional.

November 1992-January 1993. Systematic Fieldwalking Survey.
Evaluation on proposed route of Hardwick Landfill site access road (Field 3; Context 2):
Prehistoric worked flints including small tranchet axehead of probable Mesolithic date.
Occasional post-medieval pottery sherds and tile fragments (all of relatively recent date).
