A medieval chapel dedicated to St Peter existed within Westacre. Blomefield suggested it lay within the parish church but a field book of 1432 shows that it was situated near to Chapel Dyke and The Stone. The exact location of this chapel is unclear but it may lie near to site NHER 3886.

Mentioned by Blomefield as if it were within the parish church, but field book of 1432 shows that it lay within West Field south of Walton Way, near Chapel Dyke and The Stone. See letter in file.
Therefore, NHER 3886 (find of human bone and building material) is a good contender.
