Summary

Metal detecting in 1991 and between 2008 and 2010 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds and Roman and medieval coins as well as Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects including a fragment of Early Saxon cruciform brooch, a Late Saxon stirrup terminal, medieval copper alloy cauldron rim and Papal bulla of Martin IV (1281-1285) and a post-medieval jetton and hooked tag.
