Evaluation prior to the construction of an extension to Ivory House recorded three archaeological features, all of them mid to late medieval pits. They were probably associated with medieval properties occupying the street frontage of All Saints' Green, prehaps serving to received domestic or industrial refuse or cess.

Full description

August 1998. Trial Tench.
Evaluation of site of proposed extension to Ivory House, All Saints Green.
Three archaeological features were recorded, all of them mid to late medieval pits. They were probably associated with medieval properties occupying the street frontage of All Saints' Green, prehaps serving to received domestic or industrial refuse or cess.
Medieval to post-medieval building material and metalwork.
Residual flint tool.
