Summary

Metal detecting recovered finds dating from the Bronze Age to the post medieval period. These include a Bronze Age axe, a Roman 2nd century AD plate brooch, parts of Early Saxon brooches, a Middle Saxon brooch, a medieval decorated belt plate and undated metalworking debris. Roman and medieval coins were also found.

Full description

1989 to 1990. Found in metal detecting survey over field which also contains sites NHER 8060, 8038, 8035, 8033, 13420. Two visits made.
Bronze Age axe.
