Summary

Metal-detecting in 1989 recovered an extremely rare medieval coin, a halfpenny of Henry I (1100 to 1135). Fieldwalking in 1992 recovered prehistoric worked flints. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered post-medieval jettons, a prehistoric flint flake, Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval pot sherds, Early Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-med metal objects including a fragment of Early Saxon long-brooch, medieval writing leads and a post-medieval pipe tamper.

Late 1989. Metal-detecting. Halfpenny of Henry I. Round halfpenny, not cut. Extremely rare coin. In file is identification by Fitzwilliam Museum. See 1:2500 map in file.
