Summary

A site visit in 2006 confirmed that a World War Two pillbox is still present in a garden here, on the south bank of the Mill Basin. It is polygonal and probably dates to 1940, and retains its brick shuttering in places.

South bank of Mill Basin. Pillbox, low, polygonal.

Standard type 22 pillbox situated on south bank of Mill Basin. Date probably 1940. Brick loopholes, retains brick shuttering in places.
