The ring ditch described above is visible faintly as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). It is centred on TG 1808 0367 and measures approximately 31m in internal diameter, 33m in external diameter. It is only visible on one set of photographs, which were not easily rectified, therefore its location may not be exact. It is also possible that a small section of internal ditch is visible, although this may be related to underlying geology, which is also visible as cropmarks in the field.

February-March 2017. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of site on possible route of Hornsea Project Three offshore wind farm onshore cable.
This survey identified a curvilinear anomaly that is clearly associated with the cropmark ring-ditch recorded at this location. Like the cropmark is it penannular, with an apparent break on its northern side. There was no evidence for internal features.

It should be noted that the planned route of this onshore cable now runs to the west of this feature.
