Hexagonal, concrete.
First noted by Pillbox Survey.
Confirmed by E. Rose (NAU) 27 June 1981.
Still extant 28 April 2000.

An extant World War Two pillbox is visible on contemporary and later aerial photographs (S1-S2). This pillbox is located at TG 46055 12125 overlooking a road junction 270m to the south of Thrigby church. The earliest available aerial photographs showing this hexagonal pillbox date to 1946 (S1) but it is likely that it was constructed in about 1940. It was not recorded as part of the Defence of Britain project but is listed as a type 22 pillbox in (S3).
