Full description
1977. Metal detecting. Found 'virtually on surface' of field boundary bank.
Thin-butted flat axehead, apparently bronze. 12.1cm long, maximum width 6.1cm.
All surfaces badly disrupted by corrosion. Possible cabling on one edge. Very slight hammered flanges.
