Full description
1973-1974. Casual Discovery.
Excavation of a medieval well and the garden levels around it produced several rather muddled groups of 17th/18th century material. The finds, with a few sherds of Grimston and Yorkshire jug, included red ware, coarse English slipwares, Staffordshire slipware, tin-glazed earthenware and Westerwald stoneware.
