Summary

The cropmarks and earthworks of a possible deserted medieval village and moated site are visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1970s. Fragments of medieval pottery and floor tile have been found on the site, which was destroyed during the construction of a golf course.

Cropmarks and earthworks of moats, trackways and enclosures, perhaps a deserted village.

Unclassified pottery found.

1987.
Site destroyed. Medieval sherds and tile found.
