Full description

15 June 1958. Stray Find.
In digging hole about 3m to 3.3m (10 to 11ft) down next Holmes Garage (beside main street).
Late Saxon spearhead with silver inlay on socket.
Animal bones and other metal object not preserved.
Site examined by R.R. Clarke (NCM) and nothing found.
