Summary

Metal detecting here over a number of years recovered a variety of metal objects. These included two Roman dolphin brooches, a Roman finger ring, an Early Saxon pair of tweezers, a post medieval acorn-shaped belt mount and a an early post medieval openwork button.

Before 4 March 2005.
Roman, Early Saxon and post medieval metal objects found by detectorist(s) in the last few years and handed in to the landowner of Railway Farm, Sporle, and not previously recorded.
All would have been found within the following NHER numbers: 28569, 28738, 28809, 31559 and 32939.
