Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1998 and 2003 recovered numerous Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age worked flints. Sherds of Roman, Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery were also retrieved along with a Saxon strap end and post medieval token. Metal-detecting in August 2010 recovered a Medieval copper alloy harness pendant suspension loop.

1998. Fieldwalking. Gridded fieldwalking of field containing NHER 7639, 23407, 23783, 28818, 30960, 32297 and eastern half of 7640.
Bronze Age/Iron Age worked flints.
Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval sherds.
