The bridge and stone lodges here are believed to date to the 19th century having been designed by Francis Stone. The bridge is single span with a semi-circular arch with cast iron railings between the square stone posts. The bridge incorporates a medieval drawbridge and may be built on the same site as the medieval bridge.

Bridge and two entrance lodges. The bridge dates to around 1825 and the lodges 1811 by Francis Stone.
Flint wall with stone and brick dressings. Stone lodges. Bridge: single span with semi-circular arch. Cast iron railings 1825 by Dixon and Sons of Norwich, between square stone posts. Each lodge single storey with square plan. Blind semi-circular arched windows. Door on bridge facade with double-order semi-circular arches. Crenellated parapet with corner lamp turrets. Bridge incorporates medieval drawbridge.
