Roman coin hoard.
Correct grid reference by R.R.Clarke (NCM) and not TF 9004 0639 as on old Ordnance Survey.

5 August 1943.
Found together in one spot 46cm (13 inches) diameter. No pottery.
Hoard of 39 coins, late 3rd century.
Seven copper alloy Gallienus.
One silver Gallienus.
Two copper alloy Salonina.
One silver Postumus.
Ten copper alloy Victorinus.
Eleven copper alloy Tetricus I.
Four copper alloy Tetricus II.
Five copper alloy Claudius II.
One illegible.
