Summary

Metal-detecting during Discovery Tours holidays recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins. Objects dating from the Roman to post-medieval period were also recorded. These include a complete Roman cosmetic spoon, part of a Middle or Late Saxon disc brooch, a medieval lead spindle whorl, two medieval seal matrices and an undated lead plumb-bob. Metal-detecting between 2011 and 2018 recovered Late Iron Age and medieval coins, and a post-medieval buckle.
