Summary
Metal-detecting in 2003 and 2014 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins as well as Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon stirrup mount; a medieval buckle, pot mend and copper alloy vessel fragment and a post-medieval buckle, spoon, harness fitting and a combination smoker's tool. The smoker's tool contained a seal, pipe tamper and pipe cleaner. The pipe cleaner is now missing.
